BUSINESS AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILL TRAINING FOR GIZ iRISE PROJECT BENEFICIARIES.

The Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Ghana, has provided entrepreneurial skills training for GIZ iRISE project (a project funded by GIZ) beneficiaries in Greater Accra, Ashanti Region, Bono & Bono East Region and Western Region. This is to help the beneficiaries manage and sustain their businesses.

About 300 beneficiaries were trained in areas of; marketing, business plan preparation, financial management, branding, customer service relations, book keeping/financial records preparation, loan management, stock management, and cash and bank record keeping.

This was a two-day training session for each cohort (40 participants) of beneficiaries. The table below shows the various regions where the training were held with their respective number of beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries after receiving the training thanked ADRA Ghana and the GIZ for supporting them in their fields of work, and above all providing them with this business training. Abigail, one of the beneficiaries, speaking on behalf of all the beneficiaries said they have learnt things they never knew, and this training is going to help them build a strong customer relation.

ADRA is the humanitarian wing of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, which has since 1983, partnered with governments, local communities, and organizations to offer relief in times of crises and sustainable development interventions to improve lives.
