BONO-ASANTE ATEA PROJECT

The 3-year cashew value chain project was implemented by the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) Ghana in five (5) Municipal and District Assemblies (MDAs), namely Ejura-Sekyedumase, Jaman North, Nkoranza North, Tain, and Wenchi. The project, which is co-funded by the European Union (EU) and ADRA UK, targets to support 14,500 beneficiaries to contribute to the achievement of the following Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); 

              1.   End Poverty in all its forms everywhere
              2.   Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all; and 

              3.   Revitalize the Global Partnership for sustainable development

Overall, approximately 75,000 community members, permanent/casual cashew industry workers, transporters, cashew processors and exporters, Municipal and District Assemblies (MDAs), Department of Agriculture (DoA) and Financial Institutions will benefit from the project
