With US$4.549 million funding from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), iRISE was implemented in the Bono, Bono East, Ashanti, Greater Accra, and Western regions of Ghana. The project supported over 1,540 women, youth, and men with reintegration and livelihood services in both agro and non-agro sectors.
The project reached 120 vulnerable individuals, including Disability Affected Persons (DAPs), providing targeted business start-up support to promote inclusive economic growth. Notably, ADRA equipped 22 DAPs at the Accra Rehabilitation Centre and others in the target regions with tools and facilities for fashion design, enabling them to build sustainable livelihoods and significantly improve their economic well‑being.
