Eight (8) PoC (6 males and 2 females) cultivated 6.5 acres of watermelon, plantain, cucumber, and other vegetables. Collectively, the PoC sold3.4 tons of cucumber valued at GH¢ 5,500.00 from their 1.3-acre farm
They also made an amount of GH¢ 8,934 from the sales of 15 tons of watermelon. Another PoC was able to purchase a tricycle from the income generated from his farm. He uses the tricycle to convey inputs to his farm and also generates additional income from the provision of transportation services during market days
