COVID-19 ACTIVE RECOVERY AND RESILIENT [CARE] PROJECT
(2023-2024)
The COVID-19 Active Recovery and Resilient Project aims to address the multifaceted challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on facilitating recovery and building resilience within communities. This initiative seeks to mitigate the long-term effects of the pandemic through a combination of immediate relief measures and strategic planning for future crises.
Among the critical interventions that contributed to the global and local country's fight against COVID-19 infection were regular public education, targeted communication on healthy preventive behaviors, and vaccination among the general population in Ghana. In an effort to maintain the progress made by the nation in eliminating COVID-19 infections in Ghana, ADRA has launched yet another community mobilization campaign to educate the public about COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. This effort is being carried out in partnership with selected Ghana Health Service institutions and other partners. The planned project activities were
implemented in two targeted districts – Shai-Osudoku
and Adentan Municipal of the Greater Accra region, to sustain a continuous reduction of the risk of COVID-19 infections and other
infectious diseases and improve the livelihood among vulnerable women, children, and men in
the targeted region.
OBJECTIVES
Improved access to comprehensive COVID-19 education for 4000 people
